What inspires you to blog?

My main reason for blogging is to relieve stress and get my mind of things. When big things such as finances and life really stress me out and that’s all I think about. I blog to get my mind off things.

Secondly, I have some sick and twisted fantasy that people understand my feelings and what’s going through my head better when I express them in words. I tend to be very hot headed when I speak with my mouth. When I am speaking with words I can describe things more in depth and articulate my words.

Third, my memory is shot at age 24. If I document my life in an online journal I can remember mistakes, learn from them, or even never forget how I felt at that moment when something important happened in my life.

If you were suddenly granted the day off today, how would you go spend your free time?

I would go home and make a huge veggie plate, grab a liter of Diet Cherry Coke and watch Soaps in the afternoon, all the while having my laptop on my lap and laying in my bed with my mini space heater blowing on my feet.

What am I talking about though? Those are what my weekends consists of...minus the Soaps obviously. (But then again, there is the Soap Opera Channel...)

Today is Veterans Day.  Is there anyone you know who has served or is serving in the military that you'd like to honor today? 

My dad was in the army before I was born and my mother was a mid-wife/nurse in Vietnam and that's how they met. I don't know too many details of the story but thank God for that, otherwise I obviously wouldn't be here.

Which person from your past, who you've lost touch with, do you wonder about the most?

My old roommate and best friend, Alissa. We worked together at Old Navy and after we became really good friends we decided to get an apartment and become roommates. She was so much fun and I opened out of my shyness whenever I was around her. She even surprised me on my birthday by getting me a birthday gift and leaving it on my doorstep the morning of my birthday because she was going to be at work all day and wouldn't see me till later. We had a huge falling out and I moved out of the apartment after a year, but still to this day I think about her and what a great friend she was and I wish I could of done something different to avoid the falling out, but I can't and I havn't really been able to touch base with her since. Maybe someday???

I don't play many video games...I only like the Dance Dance Revolution Games ,and any games for my PS2 Eye Toy!

What's your method for calculating a tip?

I had a tip calculator on my old phone and I'd just give a tip based on that. Now usually whenever I'm out and I have to tip, I make my genious boyfriend figure it out for me. And we always give a couple extra dollars on the tip then we're suppose to. It's only right! These people are trying to make a living too! I hate it when people go out to restaurants and bars and they give crappy $2 tips after they ordered a $55 meal. Have some courtesy!
