I am one of those people that when I'm extremly annoyed and/or irritated with someone or something. I will bite my tongue and not say anything.
Well this week, I have practically almost bit my tongue off this week. And after you read this you will probably whine and complain "Oh, I just know she's talking about me!" Well guess what? If you read this post and think that I'm talking about you...I PROBABLY AM! I just choose not to use your name so that everyone else dosn't know specifically who and how crappy some of you people make me feel sometimes.
First off, I have been doing really great with my workout regimine since I signed up just before the New Year. I have been going to the gym about 3 or 4 times a week with the hubby, he's given in and started doing cardio with me and I have been following him around and having him show me how to use the weights. I did have a another workout friend that signed up for the gym membership with me, but I don't know where she is. She's only been to the gym with me once since the New Year. I guess I'm just not important enough to spend a 20 minute workout session with, but oh well, it's your money that's paying for the gym membership that your not using and then when you can't hang out with me because your too broke...you wonder why? In the word's of my boyfriend's 5-year old daughter...DUUUUUUH!
Secondly, I try to make people feel special on special days. One good friend of mine celebrated his birthday last week. I wanted to make plans to take him out for a birthday dinner, that I was going to pay for, buy drinks, the whole nine yards. Couldn't get a hold of him, his phone was shut off. Finally we do connect with each other and make solid plans to meet the next evening so I can treat you for your birthday with my newly acquired paycheck, which by the way, I did have bills to pay, but I put those off for a few days to take you out on your birthday. So I show up at the place we had planned to meet at. I wait....and I wait some more. I waited an hour for you to show up. I would of waited longer if maybe you would of just picked up a phone and told me you were running late. I never got that phone call either. So I just left the meeting spot and went somewhere else to treat myself to dinner. 3 days later, I'm still waiting for your phone call so you can apologize for standing me up. If it helps you out, the money I set aside to take you out to dinner, I can give it to you to pay your phone bill.
Lastly, when everyone goes out for a night of fun. Who do you think make's the plans and calls everyone to see if they want to come and hang out and have fun for the night...ME. The last two times the group got together for a fun night out on campus, who initiated those plans...ME.
Does anyone see an ongoing theme going on here???
So here's another late New Years Resolution for me:
Quit being nice to everyone, because they just screw you over in the end.
If you want something from me, you can call me, but if I don't want to talk to you, I'm not going to answer my phone.
My family, my boyfriend, and going to the gym are the only things that I will be concentrating on this year. If you are not one of the aforementioned above, then I guess your SOL. I'm tired of being stepped all over and being treated like crap. I got enough of it from some people in high school and I'm just too bitchy and busy to deal with everyone's shit now.
Irritated does not even begin to describe how I feel right now. And I don't want anyone's "Sorry's" because I honestly at this point don't give shit.
